⚠️ Important Rules for Students

  • Validation: You MUST validate (punch) your single paper ticket immediately after boarding. For digital tickets, scan the QR code by the door.
  • Student ID: The Student Monthly Pass is ONLY valid together with a Hungarian Student ID (or a temporary certificate from the university). Always carry it with you!
  • Validity Period: Monthly passes are valid from the 1st of the month until the 5th of the following month.

👮 Penalty Fares (Fines)

If you travel without a ticket or valid ID, the fines are high:

Payment on the spot: 7 000 HUF
Payment within 10 days: 10 000 HUF
